1. Waking up early

Don’t get mislead of what you watch on television and the internet. Contrary to the partying habits, millionaire and billionaire CEO’s and business owners believe in waking up early. Some either exercise, catch up on the news while others straight away dive to go through their work emails and proposals. It is a good head start towards planning the day and knowing what your competitors are up to.

2. Opportunities versus Obstacle

How often do we mull over the obstacle we face instead of grabbing the opportunity? Rich is constant risk takers, and they are up for new challenges, opportunities, new markets, and ventures often throwing caution to the wind.

3. Crowd is everything

You will rarely find a CEO of a multi-dollar industry hanging around associates or subordinates who gossip and are naysayers. Instead the rich hang out in the company of the inventors, investors, business ideators, and the positive crème of the society. The rich are excellent influencers, and you see a lot of them on the social media these days. The rich make a lot of useful investments that keep creating money for them even while they sleep. Shares in the fund are traded on stock markets, property, new start-ups are some of the interesting ventures they make money out of. Working exclusively on an hourly basis or 9 to 5 is not their cup of tea. They might even be trading while on the move! That is how it usually works.

They keep increasing their knowledge base, and they are not limited to just college degrees and professions. The rich adapt themselves quickly to change and keep moving forward. Learn new skills or take up new classes to get access to new market fluctuations. Listen to podcasts and audiobooks that teach them new techniques.

They never stick to a set circle of friends like the poor. They built contacts on a daily basis, once a rich person sees potential in the meeting he/she immediately adds them to their networking list. It’s all about creating trustworthy resources for their business, for them, business is always first. Even if it means mingling with like-minded people all the time.

8. Stick to the Goals

How many of us make a to-do list? Very few. Agenda and the outcome are very important for the elite. They pursue their goals with vigor, never change from the path or run after multiple goals. They prepare a list of all the things to achieve and make it a priority to stick to it.
